Themed Post: My music group "Te con Malicia"
Hi all. As always, I start by wishing you well, because of the current contingency.
Today I want to talk to you about a subject that I am very passionate about: music. Specifically I want to talk about my group: "Te con Malicia".
"Te con Malicia" is the music group I have with 5 other members, who in turn are also my friends, whom I love very much.
The group is dedicated to the interpretation of various themes of yesteryear, and today, for the most part, they are Peruvian boleros and waltzes. In this way, what the group is looking for is to bring back all the energy, and passion that involves the boleros and the waltz, looking for their own interpretation, consistent with our group identity.
As a musical group, we have performed at various venues in Santiago, managing to create a pleasant environment for those who attend our recitals. We have an Instagram, YouTube and Facebook account, so they can follow us with our news.
Today, as a result of the pandemic, we have adapted to the online format. Unfortunately we have not been able to perform live, but we have uploaded videos, photos and stories, adapting to the current situation.
One that ends the pandemic, we hope to return with all the energies, and cupli with the projects that we had for this year 2020.
To say goodbye, I leave the links of our platforms, so you can see and follow them
Greetings to all!
About the English IV program
Hello everyone and especially, for the teacher who has raised this instance of reflection, which for me is super important, and necessary for these days.
Today I want to talk about the study program that has been implemented for this semester in the English IV course.
First of all, I would like to say that the semester has been quite complicated due to the current contingency. This has put the entire university to the test, and in particular the English course as well. To this is added that we had a sudden change in the teacher, which affected the dynamics of the course.
Taking that into account, I rescue from the current study program, the teacher's proof of sending papers weekly, and sending emails asking the corresponding questions.
However, I feel that there should still be mandatory face-to-face classes via online. I feel that "mandatory" classes are essential to keep in direct contact (as far as possible) between students and teacher. In this sense, I would like it to be taken into account that the regular classes, for me at least, are necessary to be able to generate a dynamic of the course, and that it is not reduced only to the submission of assignments and evaluations.
With nothing more to add, I deeply appreciate the teacher of this instance to be able to speak on this topic, since shared reflection among all is always necessary, and that is precisely what is being done at the moment.
Greetings to all, and take care!

Personal opinions
Hello for those who read this blog permanently
Today, I would like to talk about personal opinions. By this I mean the opinions that people have, and have, on any matter or person.
What I think is that opinions have to be respected, being a minimum, or a base within social relations, in order to have healthy coexistence within society.
I consider myself a person who usually respects the opinions of others. Now that does not mean that all opinions are valid. By this I mean that there are opinions that often transgress, or hurt other people. In this sense, I believe that opinions that violate, and harm other people, have to be condemned, and reproached by society. This process is synonymous with progress and learning towards social relationships that are respected and recognized as equals.
On how personal opinions affect me, I must say that in general I do not care about the opinions of other people who are not part of my close circle. When the opinion is of a loved person, be it girlfriend, friends, or family, I usually take their opinion, and it usually affects me, either positively or negatively, depending on the particular case.
With this post, I want to say that opinions have to be respected, but this does not mean that any opinion is valid if it hurts another person. For this reason, it is necessary to take the other into account, in order to be able to express opinions freely, in a context in which everyone can live in society, under equal social relations.
Nothing more to say.
Regards.

My challenges learning English
Hello to all who read me!
Finding in my last year of undergraduate study within the university, one of the great challenges I currently have is learning English.
My educational training on learning English has been quite problematic. The truth is that at the school where I come from, I had several problems in learning the language. This product of the instability that had the permanence of the teachers who taught English in the school. Every time a teacher came, he was soon fired. This was because he had irregularities in learning English. To this is added for not being self-taught in my training during my school stage, which intensifies my problems of learning the language.
Actually, learn English is a necessity in today's academic world. Unfortunately, English has become the main language for reading, and entering the academy. Today, most of the publications in scientific journals are in English. So if I want to meddle in that world, I must learn English.
One of the main things I have about English is to be able to internalize the language. When I study, and I'm with English classes, I don't have any more problems with the language. The problem arises that all that knowledge is usually lost over time. So I have trouble retaining everything I have learned.
Today, I am committed to being able to learn the language, so I will continue to look for some methods to be able to speak and read English fluently. I hope I can do it.
Thanks for reading, and I hope they are well by the contingency

What will I do when I finish the university?
Hi all
Waiting everbody are felling fine, in dark times, today I will talk about what I will do once
I finish my undergraduate degree.
Today, I am in my
fifth year of sociology, doing my undergraduate seminar, with a view to
graduating, and once I finish my thesis.
What will I do
next? I have thought many things, but what I am clear about is being able to
continue studying. With 22 years, and leaving the university, I feel that I am
in an age to continue studying more about my career.
A rather
interesting topic for me is the study of public policies. So I would like a
postgraduate degree on this subject.
Now another
question arises, where? the truth, I have thought during this time, that I hope
I can study outside the country. It is not yet anything concrete, but I believe
that once I finish my degree seminar, I will think hard about which country I
can continue my studies in the area that I like. In this sense, I have close
experiences of friends who are already planning to migrate to continue
studying, and with them I will get up to date, on what to study specifically,
and where I will do it.
For now, I will
finish my seminar in the best possible way, to be able to do my practice, and
then graduate.
Thanks for
listening, and I hope everyone is well.
Regards!

Reflection about meditation
Hello everybody !
Hoping that they are well, in difficult times I would like to talk about a video that I recently saw on internet. This spoke about meditation, and its positive effects on our mental health.

The video seemed to me very important, and necessary to se, for these times in confinement, due to coronavirus. The video shows that the meditacion contribute to imporve the physiological functioning of our body, and especially of our brain and the mental health.
However, by way of personal criticism, I must confess that I never meditated, and less in these days of confinement. This, because I had never taken seriously the positive effects of meditation. So, always saw meditacion as not very credible.
Now, that I've seen this video, I know the positive effects of meditation, and think it could help me in these times, because in these days I felt agitated, and anxious product of the days of confinement, and the uncertainty of when it ends. So, meditation could help me to alleviate those negative feelings. When the English class start, I felt excited to learn about this language. However, during these months I have had more problems to concentrate, which I hope to be able to solve soon.
Regards everybody and take care!
